Discover the incredible meal plans University of New Haven dining has in store for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year! Indulge in our diverse range of options, complete with Dining Dollars that can be conveniently utilized at select retail locations and the campus convenience store. But wait, there's more! Every meal plan guarantees delightful birthday cupcakes on your special day, along with the freedom to enjoy two weekly swipes at any of the tantalizing food trucks on campus. Get ready to embark on a culinary adventure like no other!

Campus Meal Plans for 2023-2024

Signing Up for a Meal Plan

Whether you reside on campus or off campus, all students have access to meal plans.

(Charger Pride is required for all freshman first-year students who live on campus) 


Students who live on campus can choose from Charger Pride, Charger Gold, Charger Blue, or the Senior Plan. Students can sign up or change their meal plan via myHousing during the room selection process. All first year freshman students who reside on campus must posses Charger Pride. For more information about dining options, please contact the Office of Residential Life at ResLife@newhaven.edu.

Note: Resident students at the commencement of every semester, are granted a one-week grace period to login and modify their plan once.  

Students who live off Campus can sign up for any of the meal plans listed on this page by clicking HERE. Please allow 24 hours for the plan to be added to your Charger Card. The charge for the plan will be added to your student account prior to the next billing date, those who do elect to purchase a meal plan must re-enroll for each semester that they want a meal plan. Every meal plan comes with birthday cupcakes on your birthday!  The request can be submitted here(must be a student with a qualifying meal plan).

  • 3 meal swipes per day, up to 21 swipes per week at The Marketplace or Food on Demand 
  • 1 Dinner Swipe equivalent to $7.50 (to be used at Moe's or WoW)
  • Up to 2 meals per week can be used at the Food Trucks, as well as the Dining Plus dollars.
  • Food truck swipes can be used during lunch to order off Food Truck Exchange Menus at at Moe's or WoW. (More info below)
  • 6 guest passes per semester
  • $200 Dining Dollars per semester/$50 Dining Plus Dollars Per Semester
  • 3 meal swipes per day up to 16 Swipes per week at The Marketplace or Food on Demand 
  • 1 Dinner Swipe equivalent to $7.50 (to be used at Moe's or WoW)
  • Up to 2 meals per week can be used at the Food Trucks, as well as the Dining Plus dollars.
  • Food truck swipes can be used during lunch to order off Food Truck Exchange Menus at at Moe's or WoW. (More info below)
  • 6 guest passes per semester
  • $275 Dining Dollars per semester/$50 Dining Plus Dollars Per Semester
  • 3 meal swipes per day up to 11 Swipes per week at The Marketplace or Food on Demand 
  • 1 Dinner Swipe equivalent to $7.50 (to be used at Moe's or WoW)
  • Up to 2 meals per week can be used at the Food Trucks, as well as the Dining Plus dollars.
  • Food truck swipes can be used during lunch to order off Food Truck Exchange Menus at at Moe's or WoW. (More info below)
  • 6 guest passes
  • $625 Dining Dollars per semester/$50 Dining Plus Dollars Per Semester
  • 3 meal swipes per day up to 7 swipes per week at The Marketplace or Food on Demand
  • Up to 2 meals per week can be used at the Food Trucks, as well as the Dining Plus dollars.
  • Food truck swipes can be used during lunch to order off Food Truck Exchange Menus at at Moe's or WoW. (More info below)
  • $475 Dining Dollars per semester/$50 Dining Plus Dollars per Semester
  • 80 meal swipes per semester to use at The Marketplace or Food on Demand 
  • 1 Dinner Swipe equivalent to $7.50 (to be used at Moe's or WoW)
  • Up to 2 meals per week can be used at the Food Trucks, as well as the Dining Plus dollars.
